A look back at the EU Ocean Days 2025

The EU Ocean Days was a week-long event (3-7 March 2025) taking place in Brussels, Belgium. SHORE participated in a series of sessions and activities related to our ocean and waters, including the Mission Ocean & Waters Annual Forum.

This was a thrilling week for the projeoct. During the many sessions, we got to connect and talk with a lot of inspiring organisations, projects, and initiatives working for the protection of our oceans and waters.

In collaboration with our sister projects ProBleu and BlueLightS, we organised a workshop on blue education and held an exhibition stand at the Mission Ocean and Waters Annual Forum. Our project coordinator Afşın Yusuf Çetinkaya gave a pitch presentation about SHORE to a packed room during the Forum.

Thanks to this event, we were able to put blue education and ocean literacy in the spotlight.
