Ocean & Waters Ambassador of the Year

An Award for the best schools’ projects funded by SHORE

Competition for the “Ocean & Waters Ambassador of the Year” awards!

After each open call period, an online contest will be held on the SHORE community platform to select the best school projects through a global, open for public competition.

After the selection of the global winners, the top three schools will be awarded the title of “Ocean & Waters Ambassador of The Year” and promoted as such on the SHORE project website and social media.

What are the voting rules?

  1. You must be logged in to the SHORE Community platform to vote.
  2. You can vote for at least 3 different projects.
  3. You can only vote for a project once. The system won’t allow you to cast a second vote for the same project.
  4. Voting will take place between 3 March 2025 and 14 March 2025. You can only cast your votes during this period.
  5. The winners will be the first three schools with the highest number of votes.

What’s in it for the winners?

The objective is to raise awareness about ocean literacy and the visibility of the school projects.

  • An Awards certificate.

  • The right to use the unique Ocean & Waters Ambassador logo.

  • An interview of your school to be uploaded on the SHORE YouTube channel and widely disseminate.

  • A news article about your school project on SHORE website and social media.

  • For the top one school: a sponsorship from SHORE to create an Ocean & Waters Literacy Lab in your school, 300 olive saplings ready to be planted will be given to your school and an exclusive mentorship or workshop on Ocean Literacy will be organised!
