About this webinar

This event is organised in partnership with CMMI, the AXOLOTL project (GA 101158669) and the SHORE project, both funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe.

The session provides a practical overview of the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030”, bridging policy objectives with real project implementation. It will offer insights into how the Mission works beyond the Work Programme, what evaluators are looking for, and how to build strong, competitive proposals.

Drawing on hands-on experience from multiple Mission-related projects and coordination activities, the session will highlight key success factors, common pitfalls, and proven strategies for impactful participation.

Key takeaways for participants include:

  • A clear(er) understanding of how the Mission operates in practice and how to position within it
  • Practical guidance on designing strong, impact-driven proposals
  • Insights into what evaluators expect and how to avoid common mistakes based on real experience
  • Tips for building effective consortia and engaging stakeholders meaningfully

This session is particularly relevant for researchers, project managers, proposal developers, innovation and funding officers, public authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders interested in participating in EU Mission Ocean calls or contributing to its implementation.
