The SHORE Consortium met in Venice for the second time

On 23-24 September 2024, the SHORE partners were lucky to meet again for our second face-to-face consortium meeting in the beautiful city of Venice, Italy. This meeting was hosted by our partner the University of Padua, in collaboration with the Natural History Museum of Venice.

In a city, where water is at the heart of its identity, we were in the perfect location to discuss our work to increase the ocean and water literacy of the younger generation.

The team discussed training materials and the blue curriculum, the success of our first open call for schools and the launch of our second one, as well as all the upcoming activities to be organised in our Country Hubs. We had some deep conversations on how best to support schools in developing their blue projects and having a stronger impact on their local environment.

Thank you to our great hosts! We are now looking forward to discovering all the blue projects submitted for our second open call!
