On 10 March 2026, in Kiel, Germany, the Baltic MUPPETS final event, co-hosted with the Cool Blue project, will take place.
Under the theme “How Baltic Sea farming can support life and livelihoods”, the event will highlight the essential role of blue resources in sustaining both ecosystems and communities. To bring this theme to life, contributions featuring samples, demonstrations, and interactive elements are strongly encouraged.
The event will serve as a dynamic platform to showcase cutting-edge innovations, including mussel-based pet food, seaweed cultivation and restoration, and novel processing technologies. Open to the citizens of Kiel—Germany’s first Ocean City—the forum will invite participants to experience tangible, positive solutions through sight, touch, taste, and smell.
The SHORE project will be present at the Baltic Blueprints Expo in a shared exhibitor space where we will showcase the impact of the SHORE open call in the region—come and visit us!
