About this webinar
“SHORE: Empower Students as the Agents of Change”, “ProBleu: Promoting Ocean and Water Literacy in School Communities”, and “BlueLightS: Enlightening Future Schools to Deliver Blue Sustainability in Europe” are three sister projects funded by the Horizon Europe Mission to Restore Our Ocean and Waters. These initiatives aim to promote blue education and ocean literacy in schools.
This webinar will showcase three innovative digital platforms developed as part of these projects, designed to help teachers incorporate ocean themes into their classrooms in engaging and meaningful ways. Participants will be introduced to the SHORE Community Platform, the ProBleu Catalogue of Teaching Aids, and the BlueLightS Knowledge Hub. The webinar will highlight how each platform supports project-based learning, curriculum integration, and student engagement on topics related to oceans and water. Together, these resources create a rich ecosystem for educators, offering everything from ready-to-use lesson materials to community features and project support tailored for both primary and secondary schools.
Join us to:
- Explore the offerings of each platform, understand how they complement each other, and learn how schools can begin utilizing them.
- Discover how teachers and students have successfully used these platforms to design and implement blue education projects.
- Find out the next steps for educators interested in enhancing ocean literacy in their schools.
